Rodrigo Baltodano, MD, FACP is a board certified internal medicine physician and has been in private practice in Clermont for 12 years. He attended medical school at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine and completed his residency at Georgetown University Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Baltodano also enjoys participating in charitable support, including the Charles Darwin Foundation for the Galapagos Islands, The Russell Home for Atypical Children, and Lake County indigent patient medical care. He is a member of the Society of Sleep Medicine and some of his special medical interests include sports medicine, dermatology, arthritis, back pain, and diabetes mellitus. Dr. Baltodano is married with three children and speaks English, Spanish, and some French.

Joseph C. Flynn, Jr., M.D.
Joseph C. Flynn, Jr., M.D. is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Board of Spine Surgery. He attended Georgia Southern College where he received a B.S. in Biology. His education continued at the master’s degree level at both Georgia Southern College and the University of Florida College of Medicine. He served an internship in General Surgery at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. His residency in Orthopedic Surgery was completed at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1992. This was followed by a one year fellowship in Orthopedic Spine Surgery at the Arkansas Spine Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. His areas of research have included spinal deformity and spinal instrumentation with presentation of his work at national meetings. Primary interests include pediatric and adult spinal deformities, as well as degenerative and traumatic disorders of the cervical and lumbar spine. Dr. Flynn, Jr. served as the Department Chairman of Orthopedics at Orlando Health (formerly known as Orlando Regional Hospital). He is also on Faculty at UCF School of Medicine. Dr. Flynn has won the Top Doctors Award in 2008 and Consumer’s Research Council of America has awarded him America’s Top Orthopedist Award in 2008. He currently serves as a member on the Resident Advisory Committee for Orlando Regional Medical Center. He is instrumental in training the Orthopedic residents at Orlando Regional Medical Center in the spine specialty.

Dr. White, a Maryland native, received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Johns Hopkins University. He completed 2 years of general surgery and an additional 3 years of orthopaedic residency at Hopkins. He then went on to the Curtis National Hand Center at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, where he completed a fellowship in Hand and Microvascular Surgery.
Dr. White is board certified in Orthopaedics with added certification in Surgery of the Hand.

Pedro M. Ramirez, M.D.
Pedro M. Ramirez, M.D., is a board-eligible neurosurgeon. Dr. Ramirez completed his medical education at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru, followed by a general surgery internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. He completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of New Mexico. He is fellowship trained in General Neurosurgery and Critical Care and has an enfolded fellowship in Spine Surgery. Dr. Ramirez has received the “UNM Neuroscience” Award for resident research. He has been published in peer-review journals and has lectured nationally and internationally in neurosurgical forums. He has written book chapters such as Neurosurgery Knowledge Update: Brain Abscess. Dr. Ramirez specializes in Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, Tumors, Endoscopic Procedures, Trauma, and Critical Care. He has a special interest in Telemedicine and Physician Education, and outreach in Latin America and his home country of Peru.
Dr. Ramirez is a member candidate of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He is also a member of the New Mexico Neurosurgical Society and AOSpine.

Dr. Joseph Geffen is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University College in Fort Lauderdale where he obtained both his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine and Master’s Degree in Public Health. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at UF Health in Jacksonville, and now uses his unique knowledge of acute care medicine in the primary care setting to provide safe, high-quality care to his patients.
